Tucked away at the end of a road is a hidden secret of New Zealand named "WHANGAEHU BEACH"
A small community consisting of a few permanent residents and some holiday homes and in amongst them is me. 4076 m2 of Paradise.
The main cottage has a living area and bedroom then walk the few metres along a path to another building which has the bathroom and toilet then there is another with two sets of bunks in it and alongside that last but not least the kitchen. You have an ocean view from these buildings through the neighbours' beautiful property. In front of the kitchen and bunkroom there is a concrete area for entertaining your family and friends when they come to visit.
Soooo much space for caravans and tents and you could also have a decent game of cricket, rugby, soccer or bullrush on the large grass area there is so much room.
Take a short stroll down through the reserve from my boundary gate to the beach and enjoy the large sandy area at low tide and the locals also launch their boats there as well and if you're lucky you may even find a feed of shellfish somewhere along the rocks.
Honestly, I could rave on and on about the peace and tranquillity and how you could not find a more ideal place to get away from it all but the best thing you can do is "COME AND TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELF" you will be blown away. Be warned you do have approx.15 km to travel on a shingle road to get there but you won't regret it.
