My Hawke’s Bay residential real estate career began in the ’90s. Over the years I have seen this fast-paced and cyclic industry progress and change. I have not been fazed by these changes, and have worked through every market and industry fluctuation, focusing on one result. That is to achieve the best outcomes for my clients at all times.
When the Global Financial Crisis hit in 2008 and many other licensees quit, I prevailed, and continued to work hard and support my clients during an already stressful time. What that means for you as my vendor or purchaser, is that I have a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a never give up attitude. I will apply those skills when working for you.
A transfer to Wellington in the mid-1990s resulted in more than 20 years of successful real estate service to both my vendors and purchasers within the Capital city. It also exposed me to how people from other regions think. Now that Hawke’s Bay is welcoming more buyer interest from Wellington and Auckland than any other region, (and with me still having an extensive database in Wellington), this is a huge advantage for vendors who are looking to expand their buyer pool.
I believe real estate requires an exceptional level of listening and communication skills. Over the years I have honed my ability to relate well to people from all walks of life and adapt in all situations. My previous careers encompassed teaching and then managing a surgical practice, as well as assisting in running a farm. I am completely adaptable, flexible and have a go-getter attitude. My well-developed negotiation skills and high-level of energy produce results.
